"Train Me, Gamble" Live reading and signing this Sunday!

Sunday is almost here and that can only mean one thing: the "Train Me, Gamble" Release Party is about to launch!

Mission: Comics and Art and myself are really excited to present this live reading and signing to all of you. This event marks end of all the hard work that Santiago, Kel and myself put into creating this book. It's been a long and great road.

Hello Friends, Loved Ones, and Fellow Comic Creators!

We are now less than 72 hours away from the release of "Train Me, Gamble!" Finally, the wait is almost over and the greatest graphic novel of all time is almost here! (Okay, maybe not the greatest graphic novel of all time, but definitely the 5th greatest graphic novel of all time. Or arguably, a solid 7th place.) We are so excited to share this book with you. "Train Me, Gamble" marks the first step in my career as a comic writer and words fail to truly express how thankful I am that IDW Publishing gave us an opportunity. I'd like to directly thank Andy Schmidt, my Editor at IDW and Instructor at Comics Experience for his guidance and constant help along the way. Thanks Andy. You're the best.

Now here's the info for the "Train Me, Gamble" Comic Crawl taking place right here in San Francisco! Unfortunately, I was a little late on two of the stores, but below is the list of places we are going to be visiting in San Francisco. We are starting at Amazing Fantasy in the Sunset and ending at the number one comic shop in San Francisco, one of my favorite places in the entire world: The Isotope Comic Book Lounge. It's run by my friend James Sime. I can't wait for you guys to meet him. He's been a constant supporter of the my work and his shop is the best. Just wait! Happy Monday! I hope you are all doing well. We are now less than 10 days away from the release of "Train Me, Gamble" and I couldn't be more excited! To celebrate this momentous occasion, I'm inviting you all to join us here in San Francisco for the "Train Me, Gamble" Comic Crawl!

Next Wednesday, Dec. 22, we are going to be visiting 6 different comic shops right here in the city by the bay. Each shop will be stocked with "Train Me, Gamble" graphic novels for us to purchase! The "Train Me, Gamble" comic crawl will start around 5pm. Next Monday I'll be revealing which shops we will be going to, so stay tuned. December is here and that can only mean ONE THING: we are just weeks away from the "Train Me, Gamble" official release!

Wednesday, December 22, "Train Me, Gamble" hits comic shops everywhere. Here's how YOU can guarantee that a copy will be waiting for you on the stands: our Diamond ID code. The Diamond ID is a unique distribution number that is assigned to each new book that is released. If you give this number to your shop, they should be able to order a copy with total ease. Here is our Diamond ID Code:

Now remember, because this is an indie comic being produced by relative unknowns in the comic industry, many retailers may skip stocking it unless asked directly by a customer to do so. And boy, won't you feel terrible when you're the ONLY person on the block who doesn't own a copy of the coolest comic in town...

"Train Me, Gamble" is the story of a cowardly monster named Andrew Smith who is charged with saving the world. In order to ensure victory, Smith seeks the training of the greatest fighter in the galaxy: Gamble: a wisecracking, liquor drinking, 10,000 year old dude who doesn't look a day older than a 1st Grader!
