"Train Me, Gamble" in stores this Wed! Join us for the Comic Crawl!

Hello Friends, Loved Ones, and Fellow Comic Creators!

We are now less than 72 hours away from the release of "Train Me, Gamble!" Finally, the wait is almost over and the greatest graphic novel of all time is almost here! (Okay, maybe not the greatest graphic novel of all time, but definitely the 5th greatest graphic novel of all time. Or arguably, a solid 7th place.) We are so excited to share this book with you. "Train Me, Gamble" marks the first step in my career as a comic writer and words fail to truly express how thankful I am that IDW Publishing gave us an opportunity. I'd like to directly thank Andy Schmidt, my Editor at IDW and Instructor at Comics Experience for his guidance and constant help along the way. Thanks Andy. You're the best.

So once again, here is the Diamond Code if you haven't had a chance to order yourself a copy. It's pretty late in the game, so chances are if you order the book from a retailer now, it won't show up until next week, but that's okay, I'll still sign it!

"Train Me, Gamble" DIAMOND ID: OCT100436

And here are the links to several places you can order the book online. For those ordering the book online, please not that the book will be released on January 4th, not this Wednesday. You can't hurry greatness.

Meet the men behind the story...

Today's video focuses on none other than Santiago Espina and Kel Nuttall, the artist and letterer of "Train Me, Gamble". I'm really proud to spotlight these two guys because without their tireless contributions, none of this would have been possible.

Don't forget to check our Facebook Fan Page here or our YouTube stream there!

"Train Me, Gamble" release date! Plus a new Cover!

"Train Me, Gamble" will officially hit comic stores nationwide this December, 2010 from IDW Publishing!

"Train Me, Gamble" is the story of a cowardly monster named Andrew Smith who is charged with saving the world. In order to ensure victory, Smith seeks the training of the greatest fighter in the galaxy: Gamble: a wisecracking, liquor drinking, 10,000 year old dude who doesn't look a day older than a 1st Grader!

A cross between "Incredible Hulk" and "Rocky," "Train Me, Gamble" is an action packed, comedic tale that will prove even a monster can be a hero...

ABOUT IDW: IDW Publishing was founded in 2000 and is considered one of the fastest growing and top selling comic companies today. Here is a list of some of IDW's many achievements.

SUPER BREAK POP CREW!

So I am about a month and a half away from pitching my next big comic to publishers. I've been holding the title back in supreme secrecy for months now (online anyways. I think every friend I have around me is probably sick of hearing the title, personally). But here it is: "SUPER BREAK POP CREW" is the 2nd big comic coming out of the RUDY! stable of comics!

As with "Train Me, Gamble," I will be posting a 16 page preview here on rudysolis.com for you guys, my friends and fans. You will be able to read the comic before the big wigs, before anyone right here!

I'm very very excited about this new project. The art is by the inconquerable WILLIAM ALAN REYES and the letters are by the unbeatable KEL NUTTALL. If William is my right hand man, then Kel is definitely the left. Kel is wrapping up the letters as we speak, so the preview will be up and running here in the next week or two.

But just to give you a little info on this big project: "SUPER BREAK POP CREW" is about the world's greatest Breakdancing, Pop Star, Superheroes. There are five members to this all-star squad: SUPER ACTION OPTICAL, PANDA BONG BONG, BBOY FOREVER LIFE, GUMSHOE ROBO, and the cutest/toughest girl the world has ever seen- BOY DON'T CRY!

Our story follows the Super Break Pop Crew as they face their greatest challenge yet! What is this challenge you ask? Well, I guess you're going to have read Issue One to find out! Rest assured, this is comic is going to knock your socks off!

Now that I've hyped this damn thing up to the gills, I've got to be nice and show you at least Page One right? Okay, you've twisted my arm. Here it is folks, PAGE ONE OF SUPER BREAK POP CREW!!!! MORE TO COME!
