I promise you it's good. And I'm walking the line...

So yes, it's official, I'm on twitter. (Or "the twit" I as like to call it.) But trust, it is good! I can literally update my site, facebook, and myspace all with one post. How can you beat such lazy efficiency?

Anyways, so I'm wrapping up Issue 3 of my new comic, while I wait for the publication date of my next comic to be announced (I know as little as you do). Things are going well and William Reyes, my artist, has turned in amazing pages. Just mind blowing really. I actually think I could send just the first 9 pages to any company and we'd get picked up. He is worth the wait and the money. I'm really, really, happy.

In other news, working on this film script with fellow writer Matthew Keuter and boy is it a blast. We're really at the ground floor of this thing right now. We're working on a remake of a very famous (albeit old) property. So we've been looking at all the original comics, serials, and films that have come before in order to educate ourselves on the various interpretations and mythologies that have been established with the characters. This is also my very first chance to walk the line with someone else's franchise. The ever tricky balance of staying true to the original source material while updating and reinvigorating it for today's audience is now landed on my door step. How do I feel we're doing with the balance, you ask? Well I think-

Had a big meeting about the publication of my graphic novel today! People love "Train Me Gamble!" Very excited. Announcements should be forthcoming very soon!

So the ship that is "Train Me Gamble" has sailed. I sent it to the Publishers last week. I should be hearing back some time in the next couple weeks.

Now as I have hinted from time to time on here, I am working on a much bigger comic project that you will soon being seeing more of. I am keeping a lot of it under wraps, but I thought I'd drop two sketches from my brand new artist! Introducing: Gumshoe Robo and Make Mine Never. Both are secondary characters that are part of two rival groups. CHECK!
